Girlz with Goals seeks to impact the lives of thousands of girls throughout Jamaica. We provide real solutions to the many challenges girls face. Our program gives each girl the tools needed to think critically, live healthy, set and achieve goals and be self-confident. Our goal is to witness a transformation that is the demonstration that the information we have provided has taken root in the lives of the girls we serve.

Each workshop brings each girl closer to the Pledge: With God, I will endeavor to be my best self at all times; at home, in school, in private, in public, with friends or with strangers. Girlz with Goals are Kind, Smart, Bold, Strong and Beautiful. I will achieve my goals and be a fearless leader for truth and justice for all. I will be better than a friend; I will be a sister to every Girl with Goals.
GWG BOSS Camp
Building Opportunities for Sisterhood and Success (B.O.S.S) camp is for budding culture-preneurs. We are looking for girls with creativity, organization, and drive to put their ideas into production! Girls will utilize digital innovations to design and market their own brand, pitch ideas, grow their networks, and learn artistic skills to make real products.
Our inaugural camp launched in 2018. This year we are back and bigger then ever. Dorming on UWI campus, girls will reside in Kingston to rub shoulders with female industry leaders through field trips. They will also participate in debate, professional speaking, marketing, and art workshops.
Girls ages 14-18 are invited to apply using the online application. All meals, 5 nights of accommodations, camp shirt, transportation and field trips are included.
GWG Leadership Center
At Girlz with Goals we believe in the development and growth of every girl. Our program strives to inspire girls to be strong, beautiful and brilliant with programming that focuses on a healthy lifestyle, academic achievement and life-skills. Our programs teach girls to manage money, develop healthy relationships, deal with peer pressure, critically examine global events, be physically active, and develop a love of learning.
Girlz with Goals creates a space that is for girls only, a physically and emotionally safe environment where a girl can build her strengths and set positive goals. She’s exposed to new experiences and possibilities for her future like going to college, exploring professional careers, and preparing for a life of interesting and important work

GWG Clubs are responsible for achieving the following goals:

Annual Fund Raising to support GWG programs that empower girls

Planning and executing campaigns, initiative and activities at member school throughout the school year

Building Club Partnerships across parishes and regions for clubs to work together and plan events

Leading celebrations at member schools on International Women’s Day, International Day of the Girl and Results Day.

Creative Arts
The Center has space for visual, performing and music arts where children are encouraged to express themselves, develop new skills and talents, and expand their individual creativity. Each member is exposed to a wide variety of arts-based activities from dance, to visual arts, sewing, crocheting and creative writing.
Fitness and Performing Arts
GWG members develop healthy habits, skills for stress management, and social skills through participation in activities such as dance, karate and aerobics which require focus and discipline. Girls gain skills and build confidence to take on new challenges.
Technology
A primary goal is to enable members to become fluent in the use of technology. Our Centers have an interactive lab called for students to explore the dynamic offerings of computer technology. The girls are encouraged to work alone or in groups as designers, inventors and creators.
